Strategy to Support the Growth and Consolidation of a Sustainable Tourism Industry in Latin America and the Caribbean

CAF’s Sustainable Tourism Strategy aims to realize its vision through public and private investments that promote destination development, generate stable employment opportunities, and contribute to poverty reduction, valuing systemic services and biodiversity, urban and rural environments, cultural and symbolic spaces, and the ancestral knowledge of Indigenous peoples by fostering creative economies to create opportunities and improve the quality of life for Latin Americans and Caribbeans. All of this aligns with the commitments made by the States within the framework of the 2030 Agenda and the Paris Agreement.
