She has been part of CAF's research team since 2024, where she participates in the coordination of the 2026 Economy and Development Report (RED) “Evolving Territories: The New Rural Face of Latin America and the Caribbean.” Previously, she was an external consultant for CAF and a researcher at the Ministry of Economy and the Ministry of Labor of the Province of Buenos Aires. She was a collaborator at CEDLAS and ECLAC.

His focus has been on various topics such as social inclusion, sports programs for development, citizen security, state capacities, education, and productivity, among others.

He has more than ten years of experience in public policy and currently leads the impact assessment agenda at CAF. He is noted for his analytical skills, strategic leadership, and experience in the Colombian public sector.

She was Associate Professor at the University of the Andes, Senior Economist for the Office of the Chief Economist for LAC at the World Bank and the UNDP, and Director of Monitoring and Evaluation of Public Policies for the Colombian Government. Her work focuses on impact assessment, social programs, poverty, health, and education. She has published her research in international academic journals and served on technical committees on panel data monitoring and the DANE's expert commission on poverty.

Economist from Andrés Bello Catholic University (UCAB) (Caracas, Venezuela) and Specialist in Territorial Government and Public Management from Javeriana Pontifical University (Bogotá, Colombia). She has nearly a decade of experience as a consultant on public policy and the Venezuelan regulatory environment. Co-author of several studies on economic regulation policies in Venezuela. University professor at UCAB, Monteávila University, and Executive Education at IESA. She joined CAF—Development Bank of Latin America and the Caribbean—in 2018 and currently serves as Senior Executive for Development Contributions and Impact Measurement, coordinating the MIDES system.
Mauricio is an ICT expert and currently leads CAF's broadband strategy. He has over 15 years of experience in the technology, media and telecommunications industry, where he has held management positions and provided strategic and regulatory consulting services to private companies and national governments. He has extensive international experience in investment strategy design, infrastructure project structuring, market reforms, and equity and debt transactions, particularly in Latin America. He was previously an associate consultant at an international strategy consulting firm, advisor to the Presidency of the Republic of Colombia on competitiveness and innovation policy, Director of the Compartel Universal Access Programme, advisor to the Communications Regulation Commission, and consultant to the IDB and USAID. He has a strong academic background in economics and finance and an MBA in Telecommunications from the United Kingdom.

Bachelor's degree in Economics - National University of La Plata. He is an adjunct professor at the National University of La Plata. His research interests focus on industrial organization, public service regulation, and competition policy. Before joining CAF, he worked as an Associate Economist at the Latin American Economic Research Foundation. He has also taught at the University of Buenos Aires, the University of San Andrés, and Torcuato di Tella University.

He currently serves as Director of Impact Assessment and Policy Learning at CAF. Daniel has been an adjunct professor at the Institute of Higher Studies in Administration (IESA) since 2004. Previously, he was Impact Assessment Coordinator and Senior Economist at CAF, as well as Research Economist for the Economic Advisory Office of the National Assembly of Venezuela between 2002 and 2004.
An expert in corporate governance, he currently coordinates the CAF Corporate Governance Programme at the regional level, with more than twenty years of experience in corporate governance, competitiveness, business consulting, the financial system and financial management of medium-sized companies, having held management positions and worked as a consultant. Before joining CAF, he worked at Procapitales, BCC & Asociados, Inversiones M&S and Banco de Crédito del Perú, as well as teaching finance at the Peruvian University of Applied Sciences (UPC). He currently teaches the corporate governance module of the "Independent Directors Certification Programme" at CENTRUM GRADUATE BUSINESS SCHOOL. He holds a degree in economics from the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru and an MBA in finance and international business from New York University's Stern School of Business.
Economist and Master in Public Management. His career has focused on quantitative research on topics of interest for public policy in developing countries. Recently, his work has centered on the construction and use of artificial intelligence algorithms to extract useful lessons for implementing more effective solutions to existing public challenges in Latin America and the Caribbean.

In Mexico, he collaborated with the CIDAC think tank and, in the private sector, with INSAD and Hill and Knowlton.

His research interests focus on the macroeconomic aspects of economic development and international trade in developing economies. Before joining CAF, he was a Max Weber Fellow at the European University Institute, a researcher at the IERAL of the Meditarrena Foundation, and taught at the National University of Córdoba and the Carlos III University of Madrid. He is currently an adjunct professor of Economic Policy II at the National University of La Plata.

Her areas of research are applied microeconomics and economic development. Before joining CAF, she served as a senior economist at the Inter-American Development Bank.

She currently works as coordinator of the ImpactoCAF initiative and in the management of impact assessment projects. Previously, she worked as a sector analyst at the Ministry of Economy and in macroeconomic consulting.
Senior Specialist in Productive and Financial Development. Prior to this position, she worked at the Banco de la República (Central Bank of Colombia), where she was Director of Economic and Financial Education and Director of Institutional Communication, among other positions. She holds a degree in Economics and a Master's degree in Economics from the Universidad de los Andes in Bogotá, Colombia, and a Master's degree in Public Administration from the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University. In her 15 years of professional experience, she has worked on various financial inclusion and education projects in Latin America, such as measuring the financial capabilities of the population in several countries in the region, as well as advising national governments on the design and implementation of national financial inclusion and education strategies. She has also led innovation, productivity, and education for work projects in several Latin American countries. She is the author of several publications on the subject.

Before joining CAF, he worked as a professor at Carlos III University in Madrid, the Autonomous Technological Institute of Mexico (ITAM) and the University of Kent in the United Kingdom. Manuel has published several of his works in international peer-reviewed journals such as the Journal of Monetary Economics, Macroeconomics Dynamics and the Scandinavian Journal of Economics.
