Agudelo, Mauricio

Mauricio is an ICT expert and currently leads CAF's broadband strategy. He has over 15 years of experience in the technology, media and telecommunications industry, where he has held management positions and provided strategic and regulatory consulting services to private companies and national governments. He has extensive international experience in investment strategy design, infrastructure project structuring, market reforms, and equity and debt transactions, particularly in Latin America. He was previously an associate consultant at an international strategy consulting firm, advisor to the Presidency of the Republic of Colombia on competitiveness and innovation policy, Director of the Compartel Universal Access Programme, advisor to the Communications Regulation Commission, and consultant to the IDB and USAID. He has a strong academic background in economics and finance and an MBA in Telecommunications from the United Kingdom.
