Calá, Carla

Master's degree in Applied Economic Development from The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) and Bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of CEMA, with a specialization in Education from the University of San Andrés. She has been part of CAF's research team since 2023, contributing to the preparation and management of the 2025 Economy and Development Report (RED) “Close Solutions: The Role of Local and Regional Governments in Latin America and the Caribbean.” Previously, she worked at the consulting firm Compass Lexecon in the area of International Arbitration and as an assistant professor at the University of CEMA.
