The role of the govtech in the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals

This document explores the role that govtech plays in the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in Latin American (LATAM) and its contribution towards strengthening the take up of the data and the Artificial Intelligence (AI) economy within the region. The analysis draws on the experiences of several Latin American countries, regions, and cities which have recently adopted gov tech strategies and compares their lessons learnt, failures, and successes in order to identify some key recommendations for the future.
