It consists of three sections: the first section presents the general aspects of the background to the strategy and the context of the state of biodiversity in Latin America and the Caribbean, presenting the new market trends of products based on biodiversity, as well as the relationship of society to biological resources, climate change, ecosystem services and biodiversity. The second section describes the CAF Strategic Biodiversity Plan, showing the institutional context in which are made the strategic plan, the vision and the intervention strategies, as well as details of the four action priorities for 2015-2020, and their relationship with the Aichi targets.
