CAF – Development Bank of Latin America and the Caribbean – is a financial institution governed by public international law, established through a Constitutive Agreement signed on February 7, 1968. Its mission is to promote sustainable development and regional integration in Latin America and the Caribbean, contributing to the well-being of its people. This publication aims to compile the original texts of the headquarters agreements and conventions entered into with CAF’s shareholder countries regarding immunities, exemptions, and privileges. The purpose is to facilitate clear reading and understanding, allowing for a comprehensive view of what each country offers CAF as an international organization. This document not only promotes access to information and transparency in understanding the benefits granted, but also seeks to strengthen regional cooperation and integration by providing a consolidated instrument covering all shareholder countries.
