2024 Sustainability Report

In 2024, CAF reaffirmed its commitment as the green and sustainable development bank for Latin America and the Caribbean. With 41% green financing, it surpassed the target set for 2026 and allocated over USD 15.7 billion to projects that promote equity, productivity, and regional resilience. It supported initiatives in health, education, infrastructure, energy transition, and water security, aligned with the SDGs. CAF participated in global forums such as COP16 and COP29, bringing the region’s voice to the international stage. More than 7 million people benefited from social and nutrition programs. It also fostered internal talent through leadership and organizational culture programs. This report reflects a decade of commitment to sustainable development.
